From Principles for Healthy Soil to Practical Action

From Principles for Healthy Soil to Practical Action

8 Nov 2024 | Zeewolde, The Netherlands

During our last year’s workshop on Soil and Resilience, it became clear that more practical solutions for soil management are urgently needed. In response, we’re delighted to host a follow-up meeting, “From Principles for Healthy Soil to Practical Action,” on November 8, 2024. This event is designed for farmers, researchers, teachers, and all soil management stakeholders.

BENCHMARKS’ lead Prof. Rachel Creamer, from Wageningen University & Research will discuss:

  • The complexities of soil functions and interactions
  • Effective measures and monitoring methods for healthier soil

There will be plenty of room for questions and conversation.

The second half will take place on the field and will focus on soil-climate strategies particularly on green manure, reduced tillage and water management. This will be a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and share experiences.

This event is co-organised by Hemus, ERF BV, and EU projects Soil Health Benchmarks and Climate Farm Demo.

If you are interested in participating, email: info@hemus.nu or register here.
